Our Story
PickNDrop was founded to solve a problem that anyone living in Ghana knows well: getting something delivered from one point to another should not require a leap of faith. For too long, customers have had to rely on informal dispatch riders with no tracking, no proof of delivery, and no recourse when things go wrong.
We started by talking to the people most affected — small business owners who lost revenue to failed deliveries, individuals who had packages go missing, and riders themselves who wanted a fair and structured way to earn a living. What we heard was clear: Ghana needed a delivery platform built from the ground up for local realities.
That insight shaped everything about PickNDrop. We built an escrow payment system so funds are only released when a delivery is confirmed with a 6-digit code. We integrated MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash, and AirtelTigo Money alongside Visa and Mastercard through Paystack, because in Ghana, mobile money is how most people transact. We created a rider tier system — Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum — that rewards consistency and professionalism. And we added real-time GPS tracking so customers always know exactly where their package is.
Today, PickNDrop operates in Accra, Kumasi, and Tema, with plans to expand to more cities across Ghana. Every feature we ship is informed by the daily experiences of the riders and customers who use our platform.
